Information for international students

As a part of Hanze Groningen, the Digital Society Hub is an inspiring environment and a breeding ground for the Northern Region.

What is the Digital Society Hub?

The Digital Society Hub (DSH) is an inspiring Learning Community in the field of digitalization and digital transformation, where experts from industry and government work together with students, professors and researchers to design and test solutions for current societal themes and challenges.

We are an (international) learning community as well as a multidisciplinary living lab. In collaboration with other disciplines, students learn to look beyond the boundaries of their own (field of) study and environment. At the Digital Society Hub, even more experience and knowledge are obtained through internationalization, working with people and organizations from other countries and backgrounds. It broadens horizons, opens the mind, and stimulates creativity and innovative power.

What can I do at the DSH as an international student?

As an international student, you can work on projects for your internship or graduation assignment. We offer a wide variety of projects and have a large network of partners, giving you many opportunities to gain experience. The Digital Society Hub also offers minor programs. A minor is a half-year program in which you can specialize in a specific field while working on real-life challenges.
